• Assist in the plant and business platform level accounting

• Assist in the development of financial plans and preparation of plant and Emerson reporting

• Prepare presentations and assist in presenting key financial data

• Lead preparation of the Columbus plant budget and assist in the support of the Precision Cooling business budget process

• Lead Columbus plant financial reporting

• Assist in preparing and analyzing business platform reporting

• Utilize/leverage the use the contiguous financial shared services infrastructure to maximize their output for the benefit of the Precision Cooling business

• Special analysis for management

• Interact with:

o Senior Financial Management 

o Business Platform Controllers/Finance

o Plant Controllers

o Financial Shared Services

• Some travel required – primarily to Ironton, Ohio and Reynosa, Mexico

• Provide Management with clear financial goals, monitor their progress, and effectively communicate their results

• Develop financial tools/processes that will give executive management an edge over our competition in making correct decisions in managing the business.

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ Years in Accounting/Finance preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Extensive experience in advanced Access, advanced Excel, and advanced PowerPoint

• Ability to perform extensive data mining/manipulation of large sets of data

• Ability to work on more than one project at a time

• Must have excellent oral and written skills

• Produce work quickly and accurately

• Ability to handle stress well

• Must have excellent people skills due to interfacing with all levels of associates

• Excellent analytical skills used not only to identify historical cost drivers, but also to understand the degree and sensitivity in forecasting the future

• Certified Public Accountant - preferred along with an active certification
